I recently added the SWAG Craze Pearl to my bag and it has quickly become a great option when the lanes begin to transition. This ball gives me the extra length I need while still maintaining a strong and predictable motion down lane. When my stronger balls start reading too early, the Craze Pearl allows me to stay in the pocket without sacrificing carry.

The combination of the Rage Pearl Reactive coverstock and the Craze symmetric core creates a very clean look through the front part of the lane. The ball gets through the heads with ease and stores plenty of energy for the backend. Once it sees friction, it makes a smooth but confident move toward the pocket without being overly aggressive or unpredictable.

What impressed me most is how controllable the motion is. The backend reaction is strong enough to drive through the pins, yet smooth enough to keep the ball from jumping off the spot. That balance makes it very easy to trust shot after shot, especially during league when the lanes begin to break down.

For me, the Craze Pearl works extremely well on medium oil and later games when the track area begins to hook. It gives me the ability to move inside and open my angles while still maintaining a clean look through the front of the lane.

Overall, the SWAG Craze Pearl is a very dependable transition ball. It provides great length, a smooth and controllable backend, and strong pin carry. The SWAG Craze Pearl is straight-up versatility at its best. There’s honestly nothing this ball can’t do. When everything else stops working and the lanes feel impossible, this is my get-out-of-jail card. It gets through the fronts clean, blends the lane, and gives me a shape I can actually trust without forcing it. I can move left, move right, change speed, change hand — it just stays in play. It’s not jumpy, it’s not lazy, it just does what you ask and keeps the pocket in front of you. The SWAG Craze Tour Pearl is part of the Primary Performance Line. This ball provides a beautiful, predictable, smooth arc that stays continuous through the pins. It doesn’t jump or get sideways; instead, it reads the lane very cleanly and consistently. This is definitely my benchmark pearl as the lanes start to hook, giving me a reliable reaction when conditions begin to transition.

It is very consistent off the spot, and the motion remains controlled and smooth throughout the entire lane. The new AP26 cover, combined with my high rev rate, helps blend out wet/dry conditions better than many other pearl balls I’ve used. The backend reaction is impressive—it’s so clean through the fronts that it saves plenty of energy for a strong, continuous move on the backend. Corner pins don’t stand a chance.

The SWAG Assassin is a total Slayer! This ball brings it without apology. My layout is a tweaked version of 65 x 3 3/8 x 35, pin up. The Test pattern was a 43ft house shot, 25.4ml oil, I started standing on 25 with the inside of my left foot and throwing across 7 at the arrow. This was way to much ball to be that far right. I started moving 5 boards left with my mark at the arrow adjusting with my move to catch more oil. Finishing up at 45 throwing across 21/22 at the arrows on a slight swing. This ball brought it in every move, it never waivered and continued to pound the right hand pocket with authority. I have used the Assassin on challenge patterns up to 46ft during league and it continues to read the lanes like its a house shot. I swear, it made bowling easy. These type of patterns require accuracy and if I missed I knew it immediately. The Assassin is an amazing addition to my inventory, cant miss with this ball.

"Listen, I just got the Swag Craze Tour Pearl out on the lanes, and I have to talk about what this ball just did for my game.

If you've watched me bowl when the lanes get chewed up, you know the struggle of finding something that doesn't violently over-react. I threw this right into the friction, fully expecting that jerky, unpredictable snap you usually get from a pearl. Nope. This thing cleared the front of the lane like glass and made the smoothest, most controllable turn off the breakpoint I’ve seen in a long time.

For the purpose of this review, I was bowling on a fresh house shot that was a medium condition. I’m more speed dominant, throwing about 16-16.5mph, with a medium rev rate. I typically play down-and-in, targeting between 5 and 15, depending on lane condition. I left the ball at its out-of-box surface.

I assure you, this is not just another “black ball.” This ball is phenomenal. It just does what it’s supposed to do. I released the ball, and it always did the same thing: skid-read-“climb.” The “climbing” is one of the elements that makes this ball special. It doesn’t overreact, and does the same thing over and over. Nothing fancy, just does its business and goes home.

The Craze Tour Solid is versatile enough where you can use it the whole night. I moved two boards across three games, and had a huge pocket, carrying light, flush, and high.

The AP26 additive in the coverstock in the recent batch of releases makes a visible and clear difference in ball reaction. It’s still a smooth motion, while it’s a more defined shape than Swag equipment I’ve thrown from prior releases, and the drive through the pins is greatly improved. I regularly split the 8-9.

I also have the newly released Unreal Solid, drilled the same way, also out-of-box surface. They would make a great 1-2 punch, with the Unreal reading earlier for the heavier oil condition, and then you can transition to the Craze Tour Solid for when the lanes start to break down.

Although I have not had a spare ball in years, I have been recently considering purchasing one, particularly as I am making adjustments to my bowling technique to reduce my speed. The Swag Dragon Stained Glass Poly Spare Ball stands out as the most aesthetically pleasing I have ever seen in my 44 years of bowling. The colors, design, and construction are exceptional. The design is protected by a thick clear coat, ensuring its longevity.

If you decide to purchase this exquisite spare ball, I recommend drilling it “centered” so that the word “Dragon” is on one side and “Swag” is on the other.

This purchase will undoubtedly be a worthwhile investment, especially if you are seeking a spare ball of the highest quality and workmanship.

The SWAG Serpent Hybrid Bowling Ball gives me the perfect amount of length and a strong backend to finish through the pins. I’ve been using it on medium to heavy oil and it performs great on both. On heavy oil I can stay more down and in while on medium oil, I can swing it more. For reference, my ball layout is 4 x 4 x 2. I am a medium speed, low to medium rev bowler so I rely on the performance of the ball and this one has quickly become my go to benchmark ball. The motion of this ball is predictable and that helps me to maintain consistency. I would definitely recommend this to someone who’s looking for a strong benchmark ball.

The SWAG Unreal Solid Bowling Ball is a great ball for heavy oil. For reference, my ball layout is 70 x 3.5 x 20. I am a medium speed, low to medium rev bowler. This ball is the first one out of the bag when I know I am going to be dealing with heavy oil or if I’m dealing with longer oil patterns. It gets through the fronts easily and stores up enough energy to continue through the pins without burning up. This ball allows me to stay aggressive when I need to be which helps to kick out the corner pins. Not only does this ball do its job, it looks good going down the lanes as well. I would definitely recommend this ball if you’re looking for something stronger than your benchmark ball.

I got this SWAG Dragon Cotton Candy Poly Bowling Ball to shoot at my spares. It goes straight which has been great for shooting at my ten pins. Having a great consistent spare ball has helped my average go up since I’ve had it. When the lanes are dry, I can even give it some hand and it will turn from far right when it hits the friction. It’s also an excellent ball for any beginner who's looking to get their first bowling ball. It’s poly which makes it a sturdy, long lasting ball. The colors on this ball look great going down the lanes. It definitely turns heads when it’s going down the lanes and I would recommend this ball if you’re looking for a good spare ball.
